United States Attorney General Pamela Bondi announced Wednesday new developments in the pursuit of Ryan James Wedding, a Canadian and former Olympic snowboarder alleged to be one of the biggest drug traffickers in the world.
The developments included the arrests in Quebec on Tuesday of a Montrealer and an alleged organized crime figure.
A Canadian lawyer was also arrested in the U.S. on Tuesday, as was a Latin pop star, authorities said. They are alleged to have orchestrated the fatal shooting of a federal witness killed in Colombia earlier this year.
