MADISON, Wis. — Two Wisconsin athletes are among a group of 36 student-athletes recognized for their positive impact within their communities and excellence in competition through the 2025-26 Jackie Robinson Community and Impact Award.
Rico Hallman from Wisconsin Football and Erin Connolly from Wisconsin Soccer are the award recipients.
The award, now in its second year, will announce two overall conference honorees next spring. Hallman and Connolly will receive a medal featuring the likeness of Jackie Robinson alongside the Big Ten Conference's logo.
To be selected for this honor, nominees were evaluated based on the following criteria:
Demonstrated impact: Significant and/or tangible contributions to community projects or causes
Collaboration and teamwork: Ability to work with other
