DES MOINES — Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation easing weight limits for transporting agricultural goods in Iowa. Effective immediately and lasting through December 19, this measure affects corn, soybeans, soybean meal, hay, straw, silage, stover, fertilizer (dry, liquid, and gas), and manure (dry and liquid) . The proclamation allows these vehicles to carry up to 90,000 pounds without a permit on all Iowa highways, excluding the interstate system.
