LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg and Louisville Parks and Recreation are highlighting recent work of the city’s Park Ranger Program after several arrests were made over the past month involving vandalism and theft in local parks.
The mayor added the crimes, resulted in thousands of dollars in property damage, were resolved through coordinated investigations by Chief Park Ranger James Brown with support from the Louisville Metro Police Department.
“It just goes to show how effective this program is by having a park ranger working closely with LMPD in an effort to keep our metro parks safer,” said Chief Park Ranger James Brown.
