WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A second person has been arrested in connection to the shooing and killing of a woman in Winston-Salem on Nov. 19 , according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
On Sept. 11, officers responded about 10:16 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 3900 block of Cullen Street and found Destiny Kamara Tucker suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.
Emergency Medical Services pronounced Tucker dead at the scene.
On Sept. 17, officers arrested Jaheim Bennett, 22.
Police charged him with the following:
Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods
Felony Possession of a Stolen Firearm
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell/Deliver Cocaine
Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Felony Murder
Bennet had an outstanding warrant from
