More than 272 prominent citizens, including former judges, diplomats, senior bureaucrats and retired armed forces officers, have signed an open letter accusing Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi of repeatedly targeting constitutional institutions without offering evidence for his claims, ANI reported.
The signatories said the Congress leader has been making “unsubstantiated accusations” instead of offering “genuine policy alternatives.” They noted that earlier, similar allegations had been directed at the armed forces and the judiciary, and said the Election Commission of India has now become the latest institution to face what they describe as “systematic and conspiratorial attacks on its integrity and reputation.” Advertisement
