JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Swooping into new diggs are what some University of North Florida students will be doing come 2027.

On Wednesday morning, University of North Florida leaders broke ground on new student housing — a four-building apartment complex set to open in the fall of 2027.

According to UNF, the new 30 North apartments will be located on First Coast Tech Parkway, south of The Flats at UNF.

UNF said the land the apartments will be built on is owned by the university, adding that the apartment complex is leased to an affiliate of Chance Partners, LLC, a Jacksonville-based real estate development company.
