The Hershey Company has added a new brand to its portfolio.

The Derry-Township company has announced that its acquisition of the snack company, LesserEvil, has been completed.

“LesserEvil complements Hershey’s long-established confection brands like Hershey’s, Reese’s, and Jolly Ranchers, as well as its growing salty snack brands, including SkinnyPop, Dot’s Homestyle Pretzels, and Pirate’s Booty. Specifically, the growing salty portfolio showcases the company’s strategic discipline in selecting investments that offer newness and generate excitement in categories with untapped potential,” the Hershey Company said in a news release.

LesserEvil sells organic popcorn made with coconut oil in flavors such as Himalayan pink salt, white cheddar, and Homer’s Blend.
