As Baldwin County grows, the Mobile Baykeeper is keeping an eye on local waterways. The nonprofit is hosting the Baldwin County Smart Growth Listening Session on Thursday at the Silverhill Community Center.
Considered one of the fastest-growing counties in the country, Baldwin County's population increases at an estimated 3% every year.
Topics discussed will include construction runoff, sewer overflows, loss of wetlands, stormwater and other impacts. Citizens are asked to participate to help guide the Baykeeper’s work in Baldwin County.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. It is the first in a series of listening sessions to be held across the county.
