A five-story condominium building is planned for a site located near the intersection of Gale Lane and Eighth Avenue South in Melrose.

According to a permit application, the 57-unit residential structure will offer an address of 825 Gale Lane , which sits adjacent to the Gale Lofts Apartments.

The building, to offer 72,000 square feet, will be called The Forsythe and also offers a lobby and a swimming pool.

Metro records note Domus Development Group LLC owns the 1.2-acre property, which seemingly last accommodated V & K Masonry Contractors. The LLC, which paid $2.35 million for the property in October 2024, is affiliated with Domus Real Estate Agency, led by Pete Jones and Amy Clitheroe.
