That’s what Jim Millson, Norfolk County’s bylaw supervisor, said while presenting a report to councillors indicating there were almost triple the number of bylaw issues involving Port Dover beachgoers this year compared to 2024.

“To me, this is a positive report,” said Coun. Adam Veri who represents Port Dover. “This is good news.”
Veri said he’d seen some online comments reacting to the report and media coverage “trying to say everything is terrible and what a threat to tourism this is going to be.”
