SILOAM SPRINGS -- The city is asking utility customers to be patient as a new integrated software system is brought online, leading to a delay in utility billing.

The city announced on its website Nov. 14 that it was temporarily suspending issuing utility bills due to complications that arose from a recent software conversion. The step was necessary to ensure billing information is accurate before any statements are sent out to customers, the post states.

On Tuesday, the city posted on its Facebook page acknowledging that customers are frustrated by the delay in utility bills and offering more information about the situation.
