Major League Baseball is heading back to NBC-affiliated stations like KPRC 2 next season!

In an announcement Wednesday, MLB said it has reached a deal with NBC and Peacock starting in the 2026 season under a new three-year media rights agreement.

The partnership will bring a slate of exclusive games, postseason coverage, and other baseball programing to NBC Sports.

Under the agreement:

Sunday Night Baseball will feature 25 primetime games annually across NBC, NBCSN, and Peacock, showcasing MLB’s top teams and stars.

MLB Sunday Leadoff will return with 18 late-morning games, mostly exclusive to Peacock/NBCSN, followed by a Sunday afternoon whip-around show streaming live on Peacock.
