A Lafayette man was arrested on Nov. 13 after police say he held a woman at knifepoint, then at BB gunpoint, to sexually assault her for hours earlier this month.
Lane Allen Cowley, 25, was charged with one count of non-consensual sexual assault causing serious bodily injury with a weapon, two counts of second-degree assault by strangulation, one count of second-degree assault causing injury with a deadly weapon, two counts of felony menacing with a real or simulated weapon and one count of false imprisonment, according to online court records.
All but the false imprisonment charge are felonies. Cowley remains in custody at the Boulder County Jail on $200,000 bail, court records show.
