As Americans prepare for Thanksgiving, concerns over the economy, inflation and rising prices on key grocery items have many households feeling the pinch this holiday season. In response, two of the nation’s largest grocers have stepped in to help families put a holiday meal on the table without breaking the bank.
Both Aldi and Walmart recently unveiled holiday meal deals aimed at feeding 10 people for around $40.
Aldi announced recently that it is offering a full Thanksgiving spread—including a 14-pound turkey, nine sides and dessert. The 21-item meal kit includes holiday staples like stuffing, green bean casserole, mac and cheese and pumpkin pie. No coupons or memberships are required, and the deal is available in stores and online through Dec. 24.
