TAAAZE Chairman Bob Littlefield calls agreement ‘a hoax’
Security technology company Axon agreed in last-minute negotiations during the Scottsdale City Council’s Nov. 18 meeting to reduce the number of living units in its planned world headquarters near N. Hayden Road and the Loop 101 from 1,882 to 1,200.
The plan also calls for the company to build 600 apartments and another 600 condominiums.
Axon’s original plan was to build over 1,480 apartments and fewer than 400 condos.
Both the apartments and the condos will be built in two phases with 500 apartments and 100 condos built in the first phases and the rest built in the second.
Axon President Josh Isner was relieved after the agreement was passed by the council, 4-3.
