Flight operations at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) will come to a complete halt for six hours on November 20, as the airport undertakes its annual post-monsoon runway maintenance. Both runways, the primary (09/27) and secondary (14/32), will be closed from 11 am to 5 pm, with no take-offs or landings permitted during this period.
The airport confirmed the temporary suspension in an advisory issued earlier this week, stressing that the closure is part of essential infrastructure upkeep to maintain safety, reliability and alignment with international aviation standards.
