MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A 19-year-old from Gilmanton is facing several charges after allegedly crashing into an unoccupied home in New Hampton while fleeing a traffic stop.
New Hampshire State Police said they attempted to pull over Patrick Hamel on Tuesday on Route 104 in Meredith for a tinted-window violation.
Authorities said Hamel sped away, illegally passed other vehicles and then lost control, crashing into a home on Shoreline Drive.

He was arrested and charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, conduct after an accident, endangering the welfare of a child, and disobeying a police officer.
