KNOX, Ind. (WNDU) - Knox Community High School’s undefeated football team will play in the semi-state finals on Friday night in Fort Wayne, with quarterback Myles McLaughlin drawing national attention for his record-breaking season.

McLaughlin has already broken two national records this year — rushing yards and touchdowns in a single season. The senior is now working toward breaking the career rushing yards record currently held by NFL player Derrick Henry.

The Knox community has decorated downtown with signs ahead of Friday’s game. Local businesses and residents say the team has brought unprecedented attention to the town.
