MIDDLETON, Wis. (WKOW) — Lane's Bakery, a beloved Madison staple, is making a comeback after closing nearly two years ago. The beloved bakery will reopen just in time for the holiday season, though without a traditional storefront.
The new co-owners, Tim Lee and Christina Sutherland, are reviving the business by selling directly to businesses and individuals. They plan to offer many of the classic baked goods that Lane's is known for, along with a few new items.
"We're gonna have filled croissants. We have regular croissants. We'll be adding rolls and stuff in the future," Lee said.
Lane's Bakery originally closed in December 2023 after being family-owned for almost 70 years. The community felt the loss deeply.
