ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Braves on Wednesday signed right-handed closer Raisel Iglesias to a one-year deal, the team announced.
Iglesias, 35, will make $16 million in 2026, and will return to a Braves team that struggled mightily out of the bullpen in 2025.
In 70 games with Atlanta last season, Iglesias recorded a 3.21 ERA while converting 29-of-34 save opportunities. Dating back to July 28, Iglesias converted each of his final 18 save opportunities, pitching to a 1.25 ERA over his final 45 games (43.1 innings) of the season.
The Cuban native recorded his 250th career save on Sept. 16 against Washington.
