ITANAGAR, Nov 19: As many as 36 students, who are now reading in Class IX in Govt/Govt Aided/ Pvt Sch/Unaided Schools of Arunachal Pradesh, have been selected for State Merit Scholarship Award, according to a result notification issued by the DSE (GoAP).

The selection was made following the State Merit Scholarship Examination, conducted by the Directorate of Secondary Education on November 15 (Saturday) for Class VIII passed out students in academic session 2024-25 securing an aggregate of 60% and above.

Aside from a merit certificate, the toppers will be given financial incentives in the form of scholarship for better pursuit of quality education.
