Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was perfectly blunt in his assessment of the team’s disappointing start to the 2025 season.
Travis Kelce and the Chiefs have been by far the NFL’s most disappointing team this season, falling to 5-5 after Sunday’s heartbreaking 22-19 road loss to the Denver Broncos. After going undefeated in one-score contests last season, the Chiefs are 0-5 in such games this season.
Not only are the Chiefs’ hopes for a 10th straight AFC West division crown over (the Broncos are 9-2), but they’re far from a guarantee to make the postseason. The Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4) occupy the final wild card spot in the AFC, and they have the head-to-head tiebreaker over Kansas City.
