Drivers have been urged to complete one key task before Thursday, with experts warning against getting behind the wheel without it. Wintery conditions from snow and ice are expected this week, with yellow weather warnings in place for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for much of Scotland .
The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for snow and ice in number of areas including Angus, Perth and Kinross, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray, Na h-Eileanan Siar, Highland, Orkney Island, Shetland Islands and Argyll and Bute. The warning was put in place at 6pm yesterday,Tuesday, November 18, continuing until tomorrow, Thursday, November 20.
While many areas may see little to no snow on the ground, hills above 200m elevation could accumulate up to 25cm.
