The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival on Thursday announced that it is implementing a clear bag policy to enhance safety and improve efficiency when entering festival events.

According to a festival media release, guests may bring clear bags no larger than 14 inches x 9 inches or a one-gallon clear plastic storage bag. Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, and any opaque bags larger than the approved size will not be permitted.

Prohibited items include weapons of any kind, outside food and beverages, alcohol, illegal drugs, coolers, bottles, cans, and aerosol containers. Diaper bags and medically necessary items will be allowed following inspection.

Tickets for many 2026 festival events are now available for purchase at www.thebloom.com . The festival will be April 24-May 3.
