OWENSBORO, Ken. (WFIE) - The Arrive Alive Tour came to Owensboro High School with the goal of raising awareness of the dangers and consequences of distracted driving and driving under the influence.

The program raises awareness to the dangers and consequences of distracted driving and driving under the influence. Students used VR headset to simulate driving drunk or high.

We talked to one official who describes what the students were seeing.

“So we have our depth perception, delay in steering, tunnel vision for our drunkness,” says Shaquille Hill, traveling educator for the Arrive Alive Tour. We also have the same thing for our high one but we kinda flash the screen, giving you that low eye contact, and little bit more delay in steering.
