Denim on 7th co-owner Malek Kimble said he and his staff are raising money to help support kids affected by Hurricane Melissa. The children are between the ages of 3 and 9, and many of them don’t have food to eat or school supplies to even go to school. The bar is hoping the community can raise enough money to change that.
The fundraiser on Thursday will support 250 children devastated by the storm. Kimble said the mission was inspired by his daughter’s friend, who was stuck in Jamaica during the hurricane. He said he saw footage of the damage she took while she was over there, and that’s when he knew he ne
