In a grand ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record 10th time today.

Reacting to his father’s swearing-in, Nishant Kumar, son of Nitish Kumar, congratulated him and the public for this honour.

“I congratulate my father for taking the oath as the CM the 10th time. The public gave us more than expected. I thank and also congratulate the public,” Nishant said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at the venue to attend the ceremony, which also saw Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha take oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.
