NEW DELHI: The United States has signalled to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Ukraine should accept a Washington-drafted peace framework that includes giving up territory and reducing parts of its military capacity, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters. The proposal, discussed as part of a new diplomatic push, marks one of the most direct attempts by the US to shape terms for ending the war with Russia. According to Reuters sources, the plan envisions Ukraine relinquishing some land to Russia and cutting the size of its armed forces, along with other concessions. They said Washington wants Kyiv to accept the key elements of the framework.
