Raul Rocha, the owner of Miss Universe, provided an update on Gabrielle Henry, a contestant who fell off the stage during a preliminary competition for Miss Universe 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. In an Instagram post, Rocha reassured the Miss Universe community about Henry's condition. "I would like to share with the Miss Universe family that are concerned for the health of our Miss Universe Jamaica that at 12:00 a.m. Bangkok time, that I have just left the hospital where she is being treated. I was there with her family and her, and thankfully, there are no broken bones and she is under good care," he wrote.

Henry, who represents Jamaica, was participating in the evening gown round when the incident occurred. A video posted on Instagram shows her walking in an orange gown before she unexpectedly fell off the stage. Additional footage shared on X shows her being carried away on a stretcher.

Following the fall, Henry was taken to Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Bangkok. The Miss Universe Jamaica Organization confirmed in a Facebook post that she was rushed to the hospital for medical attention. "She was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries; however, they continue to conduct tests to ensure her full recovery," the organization stated.

They also requested that supporters remain positive and send prayers for her recovery. "We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care. We thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support, and continued prayers," they added.

Gabrielle Henry is not only a beauty queen but also an ophthalmologist. She founded the See Me Foundation, a charity dedicated to assisting visually impaired individuals in Jamaica. The 74th Miss Universe pageant, featuring contestants from 130 countries, is scheduled to crown its winner on November 21 at the final coronation event.
