A selection of about 140 baked goods brought in just over $4,000 during the annual All-Grange Dessert Auction held Saturday, Nov. 15 at Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.
Members of Cub Scout Pack 4490 assisted with the event, carrying treats to winning bidders.
Items auctioned off by auctioneer Dave McDaniels included cookies, cupcakes, breads, jelly, pies and ever-popular cinnamon rolls made by Tammy Robinson. Robinson’s cinnamon rolls go for high-dollar prices. Last year, a fan paid a whopping $180 for a pan of the treats, and this year the highest bid for cinnamon rolls was $150 — the second-highest bid of the day.
The highest bid, according to Sequim Prairie Grange spokesperson Sherrie Cerutti, was $165 for a triple-layer carrot cake.
