There’s something magical about Bloomington in November, when the weather’s still (usually) temperate, IU football is the talk of the town, and perhaps-premature Christmas light displays help to offset those earlier sunsets on your evening walk.
It’s a great weekend to stay in and get cozy, especially ahead of Black Friday and the Indiana University-Purdue game on Friday, Nov. 28, but there’s still plenty of reasons to get out and experience the magic of Bloomington this season. A comedy and drag show both offer entertaining ways to give back to those in need, two holiday markets showcase local arts and crafts, and “Emo Nite” at the Bluebird offers a fun way to shake off that early winter angst.
