The Thanksgiving fare may not be what you are used to eating. The venue might be unfamiliar. It’s possible you won’t know any of the other guests.

Natasha Zuydam is hosting her annual Thanksgiving meal on Saturday, Nov. 29. Everyone, and she means everyone, is invited.

This is the fifth year the South African native has hosted the event. Attendance is usually small, 10 or so people, but as word gets out during a time when a lot of people are facing food instability, she expects — and welcomes — more on Nov. 29.

"We're believing it will be a bigger turnout this year," she said as the date approached.
