DOVER — Work on a new athletic complex at Dover High School will soon get under way, with a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for Dec. 3.

The project, approved with a budget just over $18 million , will upgrade facilities at Dunaway Field that are aging and inadequate, including a condemned outdoor track . Synthetic turf has been chosen as the surface for the new baseball/multi-sport field by the Joint Building Committee, according to the committee chair.
