When Brian Walshe was arrested in January 2023, it wasn’t the first time he’d faced legal trouble.

The now 50-year-old Walshe is on trial for murder , accused of killing his wife in the Cohasset home where they lived with their three children. On Tuesday, the first day of jury selection, Walshe admitted to two crimes : that he misled police investigating his wife’s disappearance after he reported her missing and that he moved his wife’s body out of their home.

Years earlier, Walshe admitted to a different crime.
