CINCINNATI, Ohio — When Joe Flacco arrived in Cincinnati prior in early October, he quickly developed chemistry with Tee Higgins, connecting with the sixth-year receiver for five touchdowns. While Higgins’ leaping catches and contested grabs often make highlight reels, it’s something else entirely that has impressed the veteran quarterback most about his new target.
“I don’t know what he ran in his 40, but when he gets the ball in his hand and the speed that he’s able to keep kind of throughout his routes and when the ball’s in the air, you know, through the catch point, like, he looks like he’s just moving,” Flacco told reporters on Wednesday.
