The Detroit Zoo will come aglow this weekend just in time for the holiday season.
Wild Lights, the annual all-ages, family-friendly holiday light show and nighttime stroll, begins on Saturday and runs through Jan. 4. Now in its 13th year, the annual holiday light show continues to adapt and change each year, according to Emily Crichton O’Hara, Detroit Zoo senior director of guest experience. She’s been in charge of the display for the past eight years and, along with her staff, takes the challenge of creating a new presentation head-on each holiday season.
