HOUSTON, Texas – A female delivery driver is recovering in the hospital after she was shot by another delivery driver Wednesday night.

Houston police responded to reports of a shooting around 7 p.m. in the 700 block of Shepherd Drive.

Investigators say the woman, a contracted delivery driver, arrived at a warehouse to pick up orders where another contracted driver was already present.

Police say the two got into an argument, both pulled out guns, and the woman was shot.

Despite her injuries, officers say she managed to get into her car, drive away, and call 911.

The male driver stayed at the scene. It’s unclear at this time whether he will face charges.
