SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are searching for a woman they’re now calling a person of interest in a west-side murder that remains unsolved nearly two weeks later.
Investigators released new surveillance photos showing a barefoot woman wearing blue shorts and a light-colored shirt. Detectives believe she may have information that could help them piece together what happened the morning 22-year-old Zachary Owens was killed.
The shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. on Nov. 8. Officers were first called to the 5600 block of Culebra Road for reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found Owens dead on a sidewalk along the 1200 block of Mira Vista. Owens was identified by the Bexar County Medial Examiner.
