WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is showing feelings of gratitude after the family of fallen deputy Sidnee Carter donated $7,300 to the agency’s K-9 unit.
The money was raised through Carter’s memorial. It’s a nonprofit started after Carter was killed while responding to a call back in 2022.
The nonprofit keeps Carter’s memory alive through support for local law enforcement and community.
The sheriff’s office said the donation will directly support the K-9 unit in Carter’s honor.
