External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday told Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong that India and Australia carry greater responsibility in current global situation. Hosting Wong in Delhi for the 16th India–Australia Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue, Jaishankar said New Delhi and Canberra share common challenges regarding maritime security, counterterrorism, resilient supply chains and climate action.
In a post on X, he said, “Welcome my friend FM @SenatorWong to India. Look forward to our discussions."
