(Chamberlain, SD) — A California man is going to prison after he scammed a South Dakota resident out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced Wednesday Chee Yeng Wong was sentenced to 12 years behind bars after pleading guilty to grand theft charges. The Chamberlain resident lost nearly 472-thousand dollars to the scam between January and March of this year.
