Colleen Hoover , the author of It Ends with Us , is opening up candidly for the first time about the It Ends with Us lawsuit controversy between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni .

The 41-year-old director’s $400 defamation and extortion lawsuit against co-star Blake , his co-star, was ended last month after he failed to meet the deadline to amend the claims and refile. Previously, the case was dismissed by the judge.

Blake ‘s lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and retaliation against Justin remains active, and will go to trial in March.
