LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Dense fog (visibility one-quarter of a mile or less) is likely in part of Eastern Nebraska this morning. Friday will be chilly with rain likely for the southern half of Nebraska into Northern Kansas. The weekend should be mostly sunny and pleasant.

Areas of fog and drizzle are likely this morning. The fog will be dense in parts of Northern and Eastern Nebraska. The fog should dissipate later this morning and by this afternoon it looks to be partly to mostly cloudy. Winds will be north and northeast at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures should range from the upper 40s to around 60. There is a small chance of rain in Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas this evening.
