Steve Sarkisian appears to be a man in demand, despite a rollercoaster season for the Longhorns.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini first reported that the Texas coach's representatives were exploring potential NFL opportunities.
It sparked weeks of rumors, with Sarkisian linked with replacing Lane Kiffin should the Ole Miss coach reunite with New York Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.
Sarkisian's name was also mentioned in connection with the Giants job amid reports that a return to the NFL was on the cards for one of Andy Reid's former coordinator's at Kansas City.
But the Longhorns chief, who is due around $70 million over the next six years, is adamant that his future is in Texas.
