DELHI TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - Delhi Charter Township will hold a ceremonial ribbon-cutting Thursday to mark the completion of major renovations at the Delhi Township Fire Station.
The upgrades are designed to support the township’s growing fire and EMS needs while maintaining the high-quality emergency services residents rely on.
The station was originally built in 1996, when the department was staffed solely by paid-on-call, part-time firefighters.
Since then, the township has expanded significantly and now employs 19 full-time and four part-time EMS personnel, along with about 11 paid-on-call firefighters.
The renovations were completed to better accommodate the department’s increased staffing and service demands.
