Kolkata, Nov 20: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has written to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Gyanesh Kumar, expressing serious concerns over the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. She described the process as “unplanned,” “chaotic,” and “dangerous,” warning that it could have irreversible consequences for citizens, officials, and the electoral system.
