Over 3.4 million travelers are predicted to use the Pennsylvania Turnpike during the Thanksgiving Holiday period.

PA Turnpike officials are asking drivers to plan ahead for their drives between Tuesday, Nov. 25 and Sunday, Nov. 30 . This year's projection is slightly higher than 2024. Advertisement

Tuesday, Nov. 25 -675,000

Wednesday, Nov. 26 - 705,000

Thursday, Nov. 27 -490,000

Friday, Nov. 28 - 560,000

Saturday, Nov. 29 - 550,000

Sunday, Nov. 30 - 415,000

All impacting construction and routine maintenance work on the Turnpike will be suspended beginning at 5 a.m. on Nov. 25 through 11 p.m. on Nov. 30 .

There will be increased personnel on the Turnpike, along with Pennsylvania State Police.
