Pittsburgh's Action News 4 visited the Kiski Area School District to surprise the WTAE Teacher of the Month for November.

Rebekah Stankowski has a passion for Pittsburgh that shows in her black and gold classroom, and also in a recent history lesson at Kiski Area Upper Elementary School.
“This is my 30th year, and I wanted to do something different, so I decided to do a whole, huge Pittsburgh unit," Stankowski told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 anchor Janelle Hall.
They highlighted family traditions, as she asked the students, “Does anyone remember why the cookie table was invented?” and studied everything from the steel industry to sports.
