Disney’s Frozen, extended through Jan. 4, hits the stage at London’s Grand Theatre Friday. Edmonton actor Chariz Faulmino stars as Anna in the production, but the personal history with the source material goes back further: More than a decade before landing this role, Faulmino was stocking Frozen movie merchandise at a superstore . LFP’s Ryan Goodison spoke with Faulmino about the full-circle moment.

Q: How does it feel to be making your Grand Theatre debut?

A: It’s amazing. Honestly, this theatre is incredible. The people are awesome. The city itself is very beautiful. We don’t have this much colour in terms of trees in Edmonton, especially at this time. I feel very lucky.
